(posted April 23, 2012)
New Age Wrestling continues to expand. After the additions of Melton and Mulgrave, N.A.W will be traveling further up the Western Highway to the capital of the Central Highlands - Ballarat. On Saturday June 16, 2012, at the Ken Kay Badminton Centre in Wendouree N.A.W will present the Ballarat Bash. Ballarat locals Sinner Insaino and Phil Gluyas are especially delighted with this news and are looking forward to not having to travel to Melbourne for a show.

For this show, advance bookings are essential. N.A.W fans from Melbourne who wish to travel to Ballarat can take a special bus, but as this update is being made seat numbers are already limited. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.

Double Jeopardy's night of surprises
(posted April 15, 2012)
It was a mind blowing night full of surprises and more changes this past Saturday, with the return of Lowzen, Paul Vaughan having to eat a piece of humble pie, a new commentator, a new title added to N.A.W's collection of gold and two N.A.W wrestlers taking off for Canada. The full review is now available via clicking on the poster on the right.
Two weeks out from Double Jeopardy
(posted March 30, 2012)
A lack of Internet access for your webmaster has prevented any updates until now, so it's catch up time!

It's just over two weeks until Double Jeopardy, and the preview is now available. You can click on the poster on the right to go right to it. Four promos are now available on our You Tube channel with comments from Ryan O'Hare, Jarek Craven, the Smash Mouth Project and the Sons of Anarchy. There may be more to come as well over the weekend.

Amie Sabin injury update
(posted March 12, 2012)
No matter what you think of Amie Sabin, no one with a heart could have watched what happened to her at Winds of Change on March 3 and not felt sorry for her. It was a barbaric attack by the Burn City Cliq - in particular by Morphine who Amie had managed for almost 12 months.

Amie was unconscious when the Extreme Alliance and the referee checked on her, but she had recovered as help arrived but she was heavily favouring her ribs.

The report is that she got away with bruised ribs, and a sore throat from when Tre choked her and held her while Morphine climbed up to the top rope for the splash. Doctors who have seen the video of the incident on You Tube are astonished at Amie's luck. It could have been a lot worse.

But there is a rumour going around that the two wrestlers who helped her out of the ring on March 3, Sketch and Dread, have in fact taken her on as their manager. This would be a shock development if it is true.

Changes and promos galore!
(posted February 17, 2012)
Plenty has been happening in the past week, with the posting of the first four promos for our show on March 3. Jarek Craven is looking forward to his title shot and clearly feels he has turned the corner, but Ryan O'Hare is super confident in their third meeting. Commissioner Phil Gluyas is frustrated and is ready to take further action, but Iron Horse Morrison and Paul Vaughan are not budging and seem to have something up their sleeve! The playlist for the March 3 promos can be found on our You Tube channel;
http://www.youtube.com/user/nawaustralia

Big Huss has been forced by work commitments to pull out of the show, and his place against Andy Rhodes has been taken by Insano. In addition, Morphine and Tre have changed their team name to the Burn City Cliq.

Hopefully more promos will appear in the next few days, and the full preview should be on site over this coming weekend.

Complete card for March 3
(posted February 11, 2012)
The card for Winds of Change has been completed, and it is a stacked card. The full preview will be added to the page as soon as possible. As well as the main event and the altered South Pacific title match featured on the new poster, we have a tag team title match between the Extreme Alliance and Morphine and Tre - known now as the M.City Hoodz. We have Mike Manson and a mystery partner against Slikk Steev and Barry Lawrence, Andy Rhodes taking on Big Huss, Alex Haize taking on Joel Bateman, George Julio taking on F.O.X and Josh Shooter taking on Xavier Black.

Bookings are being taken now through the Booking/Contact link and via email. You'd be crazy to miss this one.

The return of the Sheik
(posted February 9, 2012)

In a shock development that has taken N.A.W by surprise, Sheik Mohammed El Zacqwi, the former Heavyweight and South Pacific champion, has returned after an absence of two and a half years. He had been deported but his legal eagles have got around the problem and he has made his presence felt straight away by buying out Jake Lindo and taking his shot at the South Pacific in the process.

An infuriated Commissioner Phil Gluyas was quick to react by firing Lindo on the spot, but he is at present unable to do anything about the change in the card.

The Sheik caused a lot of havoc last time he was here, but as he had the then Commissioner in his back pocket he got away with a lot. Gluyas has made it clear that he won't be pushed around by the Middle Eastern loudmouth.
